The Megalith's editing staff are currently tending to a few piddling and bothersome affairs not related to the site.
Rest assured we'll be back soon with an update.
Dan is busy recording his ass off, and Jay is working on his academic plans to conquer areas of the planet. As for me, you ask? I've been lurking in downtown Vancouver again-- my chains were left with slack and I've broken free. There's so many lovely ladies down here, I don't know where to begin!
100,000 Strong! posted by Beast on 07-01-2007 00:01
We here at the Megalith are pleased to recognize that we've surpassed the astounding landmark of 100,000 unique hits on our little website here.
It's been a lot of extremely fun times and a moderate amount of work over the past four years. Thanks so much to everyone who has contributed every little scribble of content for the duration of our existence on the tubal inter-web apparatus.
Updates have been few and far between as of late (due to busy personnel scheduling) but rest assured we're in it for the long run.
80s Guitar Hero Tracks Announced posted by Beast on 06-29-2007 15:38
I'm sure you've all heard of it by now, if you haven't played it for yourselves. Harmonix and Activision team up to bring us this themed installation of the Guitar Hero series, this one focusing on hits from the 80's. The final track list for the game has recently been announced, and I think it's going to be a pretty bitchin game.
Titled "Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s", I think we've got a good game to look forward to. Among the selections we find Krokus's "Ballroom Blitz", Judas Priest's "Electric Eye", the legendary "Wrathchild" from Iron Maiden, Accept's "Balls to the Wall", Dio's "Holy Diver", and "Caught in a Mosh" by Anthrax-- who had their song "Madhouse" featured in a previous game. The game is set to hit stores in the U.S. on July 24th, with Canadian stores likely to soon follow.
